Up to 40 % of body heat loss happens through the head and neck. The Norveg Face Mask Balaclava protects these critical zones against cold and wind — it covers skull, ears, forehead, cheeks, chin, nape and neck down to the shoulders, with a round opening for the face. Size Guide

The Face Mask balaclava is designed to fit the head like a second skin. The fabric is very stretchy (3 % Lycra) — it adapts to morphology. If you want full chin coverage and comfort under helmet, take the larger size.

To measure your head circumference, place a tape measure around your forehead just above the eyebrows, and circle the widest part of your head.

Practical guide: the fabric is very stretchy. The M size fits most adults (typical head circumference 56-58 cm). For a head circumference over 58 cm, or to wear easily over a thin beanie, choose size L.

Care & Durability

Washing: machine wash at 30 °C maximum, wool or delicate cycle — use mild detergent or a product for technical fabrics
Airing: the natural odour-resistance of merino wool means you can simply air it between uses — fewer washes, longer life
Drying: hang flat or laid out to dry, away from direct heat sources — Thermolite® dries quickly
Do not: tumble dry, dry on a radiator, machine spin, bleach, use fabric softener, iron at high temperature
Durability tip: turn the balaclava inside out before washing to protect the fibre and elastic band
