The winter softshell work bodywarmer — thermo-reflective and CORDURA®-reinforced.
Strong range: 3-layer TPU membrane, windproof and waterproof (2000 mm, 2000 g breathable), thermo-reflective back lining that reflects body heat, CORDURA® shoulder reinforcements. Fleece-lined high collar, 3M reflective inserts, dropped back hem — warm to -20°C.
The James & Nicholson JN825 winter softshell work bodywarmer (Strong range) is made for professionals exposed to intense cold. Its 3-layer TPU membrane blocks wind and water while staying breathable, its thermo-reflective lining reflects body heat, and its CORDURA® shoulder reinforcements take on-site wear. The sleeveless cut preserves freedom of movement.
On site, this is the warmest version of the range. The thermo-reflective lining works like a reflector: it sends body heat back instead of letting it escape, while the softshell blocks wind and rain.
We recommend it for outdoor work in deep cold — construction, logistics, handling — and anywhere the arms must stay free. The 3M reflective inserts boost safety, the dropped back hem protects the lower back, and the storage (side, chest and inner pockets) keeps up with a full working day.
To get the most in extreme temperatures, pair it with coherent base layers (see the 3-layer system below).
This winter version provides a thermal barrier down to -20°C* when combined with coherent base layers. The thermo-reflective lining reflects body heat to amplify insulation. In real conditions, the felt temperature depends on wind, humidity, exposure time and the quality of the layers underneath.
Because it is the warmest work bodywarmer in the range: a thermo-reflective lining that reflects body heat, a windproof, waterproof softshell (2000 mm), CORDURA® reinforcements and 3M inserts for visibility. Warm down to -20°C*, unisex, from XS to 6XL — built for the worksite in deep cold.
* Indicative thermal range depending on your activity level, personal feel, wind, humidity and the effectiveness of your base layers.
