The Skeleton is a winter softshell jacket for men, designed to go from pavement to path without changing clothes. Its polyester outer fabric carries a waterproof, breathable TPU membrane with a brushed inner: wind and rain stay out, body vapour escapes instead of cooling you from the inside.
Under the fabric, polyester insulation traps warm air. The cut follows your movement with ergonomic sleeves, a drawcord at the waist and cuffs adjustable with hook-and-loop tabs. The removable hood adjusts with a drawcord. For storage: two front pockets and a chest pocket, all zipped, plus three inside pockets, one of them mesh.
For the daily commute as much as for walks: one winter jacket for men, in sizes XS to 5XL.
Too warm, you open it up; too light, you add a layer: it all comes down to balance. For a walk to the station followed by an hour in the forest, with or without a backpack, keep a single thin layer underneath and remove the hood when the wind drops. What changes everything day to day: more insulation on the chest than in the sleeves, which keeps warmth at the core and the arms free.
Cold settles in through wind and moisture: the TPU membrane stops the first, the polyester insulation traps warm air against the chest and the brushed inner holds that warmth against the body. When standing still, add a fleece or thermal sweater underneath: at rest, the body produces less heat than when walking. In sustained rain, a hardshell takes over.
The Skeleton replaces three stacked garments. Its membrane stops wind and rain, its insulation traps warm air and its brushed inner holds that warmth against the body.
