SUMMARY
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
Women's Winter Softshell Jacket Skeleton
The everyday jacket: warm, windproof and waterproof, from city streets to woodland paths
The Skeleton is a winter softshell jacket for women, designed for days when the wind weighs as much as the cold. Its polyester outer fabric carries a waterproof, breathable TPU membrane with a brushed inner: rain and wind stay out, body vapour escapes instead of cooling you from the inside.
Between the fabric and the body, polyester insulation traps warm air. The cut follows your movement with pre-curved sleeves, a drawcord at the waist and cuffs adjustable with hook-and-loop tabs. The removable hood adjusts with a drawcord, and storage is generous: two front pockets and a chest pocket, all zipped, plus three inside pockets, one of them mesh.
From the daily commute to the morning walk: one winter jacket for women, in sizes XS to 4XL.
A weekday walk to the tram, a Sunday in the forest with or without a backpack: you want one jacket for both. Slip a fleece underneath that you take off indoors, and remove the hood when the wind drops. What makes it useful every day: it blocks wind and light rain while letting body vapour escape.
Thermal protection
Cold reaches you through wind and moisture first: the TPU membrane stops the one, the polyester insulation traps warm air against the chest and the brushed inner holds that warmth against the body. When standing still, wear a fleece or thermal sweater underneath: the body produces less heat at rest than on the move. In sustained rain, a hardshell takes over.
Why choose the Skeleton women's jacket?
The Skeleton brings together in one jacket a membrane that stops wind and rain, insulation that traps warm air and a brushed inner that keeps it against the body: three functions usually stacked across three garments.
The three-layer system:
- 1st layer — base: next to the skin. Captures body heat and moves perspiration outwards.
- 2nd layer — mid layer: insulates and holds warm air around the body. Fleece, knit or thermal top.
- 3rd layer — outer (role of this product): shell, softshell jacket or padded gilet. Blocks wind and holds warmth. In sustained rain, a hardshell takes over.
* Indicative temperature. Perceived warmth varies with activity, body type, humidity, wind and the layers worn underneath.
