A women's winter coat designed for northern cities, where the cold comes with wind and wet snow
Huppa is an Estonian brand founded in 1997 in Tallinn, where winter lasts five months and the cold almost always comes with damp. The Vivian coat is cut for that climate: a 100% recycled polyester fill of 200 g/m² between an outer fabric with a 10,000 mm waterproof, 10,000 g/m²/24h breathable membrane and a satin-touch lining that slides over the layers beneath. Taped seams throughout.
It is worn as a 3rd layer, over a base layer and a fleece when the temperature drops. Straight cut, hip-covering length, waist adjustable from the inside with a toggle drawcord. Sizes S to 3XL, i.e. EU 36 to 48 on the manufacturer's chart.

Helsinki in January: you step off the tram into a street at −18 °C / 0 °F, Baltic wind in your face, pavements packed with snow. Thermal protection
The 200 g/m² fill traps a layer of air around the torso and keeps its insulating power when the garment gets damp, which down does not: you stay warm in wet snow and cold rain. The outer fabric blocks the wind, the membrane keeps water out and lets perspiration vapour escape, and the storm flap removes the thermal bridge of the zip. The manufacturer rates comfort between 0 °C / 32 °F and −20 °C / −4 °F; below that, or when standing still for long periods, add a fleece and a merino base layer. The coat insulates the torso: hands, head and feet need their own protection.

Care & Durability
- Machine wash, delicate cycle, mild detergent, no fabric softener
- Before washing: close the zips, remove the faux-fur trim, turn the coat inside out
- Wash only when visibly dirty: the membrane and the fill wear with every cycle
- Air dry or tumble dry on low according to the label, never on a radiator
- Between washes, steaming refreshes the fabric without stressing it
- Off season: store clean and dry, without compressing the fill
