The Stormtech Boulder AFH-1W is a hybrid quilted jacket — two fabrics, two complementary roles. The windproof nylon on the body blocks cold air like a thermos. The Polyester Spandex stretch on the sleeves evacuates excess heat and follows every movement without restriction. High Loft insulation without down between the two, which stays warm even when damp. All in a fitted cut that naturally defines and flatters the silhouette.

Thermal Protection

Recommended use from -10°C to +5°C*. Its synthetic insulation retains full insulating power even when damp — where down loses effectiveness. Worn alone over a thin jumper up to +5°C, or as a second layer over a thermal base layer down to -10°C.

⚠️ This is not a rain jacket: the DWR treatment handles mist and light snow, not sustained rain. In heavy rain, wear it under a waterproof coat.
