The softness of organic cotton, on a knit that keeps its shape

The 8045 hoodie is knitted in double interlock at 360 g/m², a fabric that hangs heavier and loses its shape far less readily than ordinary fleece-back jersey. Its blend brings together 63 % organic cotton, 33 % recycled polyester made from PET bottles and 4 % elastane. The cut is slightly fitted, the hood is lined and drawn in by a cord, cuffs and hem are in elastane ribbing. Rated down to −10 °C / 14 °F, in XS to 2XL.

A hoodie that holds its own where most sag after a handful of washes. Three pockets, two of which close: the kangaroo pocket comes with a zipped one inside, and another sits on the shoulder.

With its 360 g/m² of double-faced knit, its lined hood and its three pockets, two of them fastened, the 8045 brings the softness of a hoodie without the slackness that usually comes with it. Made from organic cotton and recycled PET bottles, it keeps its shape wash after wash.

Its role in the three-layer system:

  • 1st layer (base): a breathable garment next to the skin to move perspiration away.
  • 2nd layer (mid layer — the 8045 hoodie): holds warm air around the body.
  • 3rd layer (outer): a parka, a softshell or a waterproof shell to block wind and rain.

A mid layer shows its full worth when the base wicks and the outer shelters.
