Hiking-boot lacing, the warmth of a wool lining
Made in Canada, the Everest pairs waterproof full-grain leather at the toe with waterproof suede on the shaft, fully lined with natural wool, able to keep the foot warm through a full day in the cold. Front lacing on metal rings and hooks makes it easy to adjust the fit to the thickness of your socks. The padded collar adds comfort at the ankle.
The Grand Froid expert's view
The warmth of the Everest isn't up for debate — it's something you feel. In Quebec, people take them off the moment they're indoors, not out of habit, but because they run so warm they become unnecessary once inside. It's the kind of detail that says more than a spec sheet ever could: a lining that's genuinely doing its job, not just ticking a box.
What are they for?
The Everest suits ordinary Canadian winter days, in town or in the countryside.
Static outdoor activities: markets, waiting around, cultural outings — prolonged standing exposes you to the cold in particular
City journeys: slip-resistant Italian sole for reliable grip on packed snow
Countryside outings: snowy paths, activities in the open air
Thermal protection
Wool traps warm air around the foot while the leather and suede keep outside moisture out. With a thin wool sock, the Everest holds its own in dry deep cold; with a thicker sock, it absorbs the extra bulk without squeezing the foot — the front lacing adjusts either way, rather than forcing a single fit.

Why choose these Anfibio Everest men's winter boots?
Made by the same bootmakers who fit out Quebec's toughest winters — if it holds up there, it'll hold up here. The rest follows naturally when the foundation is this serious.
A foot that stays dry stays warm longer than a well-insulated but damp one.
* Indicative temperature. Actual comfort varies with activity, individual build, humidity, wind and base layers worn.
