A mid-weight fleece that follows the comings and goings between warm and cold

The F205 is a mid-weight zipped fleece jacket with an anti-pill finish that keeps the surface neat wash after wash. Its relaxed fit leaves room for a thermal base layer and does not restrict movement.

The full-length zip comes down in one move when you step from a heated room into the yard, two zipped pockets keep keys and gloves within reach, and the elasticated cuffs and drawcord close the air gaps.

It is worn alone as a work jacket or as a mid layer under a parka. Sizes XS to 6XL.

Thermal protection

Alone, in dry, windless weather, the fleece holds the warmth of the chest: the still air trapped in the knit insulates. Under a parka, it becomes the layer that makes the difference below zero. Even a light wind passes through the knit: add a windproof outer jacket as soon as the air moves.

A mid-weight fleece that opens and closes in one move: wear it alone as a work jacket, or under a parka as the layer that insulates.

The three-layer system:

1st layer — base: next to the skin. Captures body heat and moves perspiration outwards.
2nd layer — mid layer (role of this product): insulates and holds warm air around the body. Stops neither wind nor rain.
3rd layer — outer: shell, softshell jacket or padded gilet. Blocks wind and holds warmth. In sustained rain, a hardshell takes over.
