Audvik’s 300 gsm in a men’s cut, without the bulk that usually comes with it
The Phoenix II is the warmest parka in the men’s range — 300 gsm of insulation in 81.5 cm of back length, mid-thigh. This is the second generation: the lower back now curves slightly, giving a cleaner line that follows the movement.
The outer fabric is laminated, waterproof and windproof, and it breathes. Waterproof YKK front zip with double slider, waterproof-zip pockets, detachable hood, reflective details on the arms and hood, inner recycled micro-fleece cuffs.
Sewn in the brand’s Chabanel workshop in Montréal. Available in sizes S to 3XL.

This is the one to take for long waits outdoors, the daily commute or a stay in deep cold. Its mid-thigh cut (81.5 cm back length) covers what a short piece lets through, while leaving you complete freedom of movement. The warmth comes from the technology of the fibre, not from the bulk.

Thermal protection
Bio-Warm Core is not padding, it is a structure: the fibre traps air at its core, and it is still air that keeps you warm. Hence 300 gsm of warmth without the bulk that usually comes with it. It stays soft, it breathes, and it holds its loft wash after wash. Like any synthetic insulation, it keeps its warmth even when wet: you stay warm and dry. Wear it over a base layer and a fleece.

Size guide
Back length 81.5 cm — the parka falls to mid-thigh. Measure chest and hips at the fullest point, the waist at the navel, and arm length from the centre back of the neck to the wrist with the elbow slightly bent.

Because warmth normally costs you bulk. The Phoenix II carries the heaviest insulation in the men’s range in a mid-thigh piece that stays clean-lined. It is designed and sewn in Montréal, in the brand’s own workshop.
The three-layer system:
- 1st layer — base: next to the skin. Captures body heat and moves perspiration outwards.
- 2nd layer — mid layer: insulates and holds warm air around the body. Fleece, knit or thermal top.
- 3rd layer — outer (role of this product): shell, softshell jacket or padded gilet. Blocks wind and holds warmth. In sustained rain, a hardshell takes over.
