Huppa designs its parkas in Tallinn, for winters that settle in November and hold until March. The Aron 2 is the brand's most insulated men's model: a 100% recycled polyester fill of 300 g/m² under a windproof outer fabric with a 10,000 mm waterproof, 10,000 g/m²/24h breathable membrane, taped seams and a soft polyamide lining that slides over the layers beneath.
It is worn as a 3rd layer, over a base layer and a fleece. Straight cut, hip-covering length, elastic toggle drawcord in the hem. Sizes M to 3XL.
Features: two-way zip under a storm flap, magnetic flap and pockets, adjustable hood with removable faux-fur trim, ribbed cuffs with outer adjustment.

Stockholm, mid-January, −19 °C / −2 °F on the Slussen quays, Baltic wind. What you notice by the third outing is not the warmth, it's the magnetic flap: you close the parka with one gloved hand without looking, and open it the same way on the bus. Tighten the hem cord before going out: cold air gets in at the bottom long before it gets in at the collar.

Thermal protection
The 300 g/m² fill traps a thick layer of air around the torso and keeps its insulating power when the garment gets damp, which down does not: you stay warm in wet snow and in dry cold alike. The outer fabric blocks the wind, the membrane keeps water out and lets vapour through, the magnetic flap covers the zip, and the hem cord and adjustable cuffs close the air gaps. The comfort range runs from −5 °C / 23 °F to −30 °C / −22 °F; the lower end assumes a merino base layer and a fleece underneath, standing still. The parka insulates the torso: hands, head and feet need their own protection.

Measure in light clothing: chest at the fullest point, waist at the narrowest, hips at the widest. Straight cut: take your usual size, one size up to wear a thick fleece underneath.

Care & Durability
- Machine wash, delicate cycle, mild detergent, no fabric softener
- Before washing: close the zips, remove the faux-fur trim, turn the parka inside out
- Wash only when visibly dirty: the membrane and the fill wear with every cycle
- Air dry or tumble dry on low according to the label, never on a radiator
- Between washes, steaming refreshes the fabric without stressing it
- Off season: store clean and dry, without compressing the fill

The three-layer system:
- 1st layer — base: next to the skin. Captures body heat and moves perspiration outwards.
- 2nd layer — mid layer: insulates and holds warm air around the body. Fleece, knit or thermal top.
- 3rd layer — outer (role of this product): shell, softshell jacket or padded gilet. Blocks wind and holds warmth. In sustained rain, a hardshell takes over.
A parka you can't close with gloves on stays open: the closure is part of the insulation.
