A technical 3-layer hardshell jacket for rain and wind from +5 °C / 41 °F

The Stormtech Vertex Stormshell RX-2 men's hardshell jacket delivers waterproof, breathable protection built for wet conditions from +5 °C / 41 °F*. Fitted with the 3-layer H2XTREME® membrane rated at 20,000 mm waterproof and 10,000 g/m² breathable, the RX-2 jacket keeps the weather out while letting water vapour escape during effort. With fully sealed seams, a centre-front YKK® AquaGuard® zip and a helmet-compatible hood, the RX-2 jacket comes in sizes SM to 5XL to meet the demands of outdoor activity.

What is it designed for?

The RX-2 jacket meets the need for protection against rain and wind outdoors:

  • Hiking and mountaineering: a waterproof, breathable barrier suited to climbs and unpredictable weather
  • Outdoor work and callouts: mechanical durability and weather protection for professionals in the field
  • Active pursuits in wet weather: underarm vents that let you adjust airflow during effort
  • Matching kit: pair the RX-2 jacket with a fleece or a lightweight down jacket as a mid layer to add insulation

Thermal protection

The RX-2 jacket falls within the Cold protection band (+5 °C / 41 °F to +20 °C / 68 °F*). As a protective 3rd layer, this hardshell blocks wind and precipitation so that the layers worn underneath keep working as they should.
