A coat that covers to mid-calf without getting in the way of walking
The Paris is the longest coat in the Audvik range: 112 cm back length. It goes over a jacket, over a dress, over workwear, without crushing any of it. Two press-stud back vents free up your stride: without them, a length like this would hold the step back.
The EcoStretch fabric is stretchy and waterproof, lined with a soft anti-static material. Insulation spread evenly across body and sleeves, YKK zip, fixed hood with a reflective strip, zipped inner pocket. Available in sizes XS to 2XL.
Grand-Froid expert's view
A length like this is judged by walking, not by standing in front of a mirror. Open the back vents and your stride comes back to normal; close them the moment you stop and the hem folds back around your legs. The cut is roomy: no need to size up, except to fit a thick fleece underneath.
What is it designed for?
The coat for long days, when you go from one outing to the next without going home in between.
- A day of meetings across town
- Long urban walks
- Standing outside
- Travel
- Daily commuting
Thermal protection
Its synthetic insulation is spread at equal weight across body and sleeves — a choice you feel in the arms, usually the first to get cold on a long coat. It keeps its insulating power even when the garment takes on moisture: you stay warm and dry. The membrane stops rain and wind. That rating assumes the coat is worn over layers: a thermal base layer next to the skin, a fleece or knit over it. Over a plain T-shirt, it will not hold that promise.

Size guide
A generous cut, back length 112 cm — the coat falls to mid-calf. Take your usual size, the cut is already roomy. Measure chest and hips at the fullest point, the waist at the navel, and arm length from the centre back of the neck to the wrist with the elbow slightly bent.

Between two sizes, take the larger one if you plan to wear a thick fleece underneath — insulation only works if it keeps its loft.

Why choose the Paris?
Because it settles the contradiction of a long coat: covering without hindering. The back vents make walking normal again, the roomy cut takes a thick layer underneath, and the synthetic insulation holds its promise even in damp weather. It is designed and sewn in Montréal, in the brand’s own workshop.
The three-layer system:
- 1st layer — base: next to the skin. Captures body heat and moves perspiration outwards.
- 2nd layer — mid layer: insulates and holds warm air around the body. Fleece, knit or thermal top.
- 3rd layer — outer (role of this product): shell, softshell jacket or padded gilet. Blocks wind and holds warmth. In sustained rain, a hardshell takes over.
* Indicative temperature. Perceived warmth varies with activity, body type, humidity, wind and the layers worn underneath.
