The Una Huppa hooded hat covers the head and the neck in a single accessory, in a soft knit (68% polyester, 20% acrylic, 12% polyamide). It protects down to −10 °C / 14 °F in dry weather, with no scarf to tie and no second accessory to readjust. One size, pulled on in one move and kept in a bag or a pocket the rest of the time.
Una is a hooded hat in soft knit (68% polyester, 20% acrylic, 12% polyamide). The hood extends the hat and comes down over the neck.
The knit is soft on the skin and the polyamide makes it hard-wearing. Una is not waterproof and does not block the wind: keep it for dry cold, for commutes, walks and days outdoors, and put it on again whenever you step out into the cold.
When it is cold, the head and neck are often the first places where you feel it, especially when you stand still at a bus stop or in a queue. With Una, the hood covers the neck as well as the head: there is no scarf to adjust. Choose Una for your dry-cold outings: you pull it on in one move and go, warm, with your hands free.
Una protects the head and neck down to −10 °C / 14 °F in dry weather. Below that, or if you stand still for a long time, add a merino wool neck warmer: when you move little, the body produces less heat. When you stand still at a stop or in a queue, you feel colder than when walking: that is when a hooded hat helps most. In the wind, it feels colder than the thermometer says: that is why this temperature is only a guide.
Una replaces the hat and the scarf: a single accessory covers the head and the neck, with nothing to tie and nothing to readjust.
The neck is a fragile area in cold weather: an ordinary hat stops at the base of the head, while the hood of Una continues over the neck and stays in place when you move.
What Una gives you:
* Indicative temperature. Perceived warmth varies with activity, body type, humidity, wind and the layers worn underneath.
