A hardshell jacket built to handle sustained rain without ever letting water through

The Vertex is a technical hardshell jacket, fitted with a 3-layer H2XTREME® outer membrane that reaches 20,000mm of waterproofing and 10,000 g/m² of breathability — a level of protection that handles sustained rain without ever letting water through, while still letting sweat escape. The mechanical stretch fabric moves with you without holding you back.

Grand-Froid expert's view

On the Brittany coast, where fine rain can last all day, this is the level of waterproofing that changes everything: an ordinary jacket eventually lets moisture through after a few hours, this one doesn't. The underarm vents let you dump heat during effort, without ever opening the jacket up to the rain.

This jacket carries no insulation of its own: it protects against water and wind, not against dry cold — pair it with a fleece or thermal jacket underneath for colder temperatures.
