Knitted from 100% extra-fine combed merino wool (14-gauge, 220 gsm), this roll-neck jumper features a fully-fashioned construction: each panel is knitted directly to shape on the machine and assembled without any fabric cutting. The collar, cuffs, and hem are secured with 1x1 ribbing for a lasting, shape-retaining fit for everyday wear.

Cold-Weather Technical Advice

An ideal alternative to heavy, bulky knitwear. Merino fibres deliver exceptional, itch-free thermoregulation, capable of absorbing internal moisture while remaining dry to the touch. Worn under a coat, its enveloping collar replaces a scarf by blocking cold draughts. Layered over a technical base layer, it retains all its lightweight comfort.

  • Gentle Washing: Machine wash at 30 °C max (wool / delicate cycle). Gentle spin (max 600 rpm).
  • Flat Drying: Must be dried flat on a towel to maintain its shape. Strictly do not tumble dry to avoid shrinkage.
  • Ironing: Low temperature (max 150 °C / wool setting) or gentle steam without pressing the knit. Do not bleach.

Placement in the 3-Layer System

Thanks to merino's exceptional insulating and breathable properties, this roll-neck serves as the perfect thermal mid-layer:

Special Advice for Severe Cold (Damp European Winters):

Unlike synthetic fabrics which can feel clammy, merino wool continues to insulate even when it absorbs ambient moisture. For very early morning starts or heavy frost, wear this roll-neck over a thin thermal base layer, and ensure you only zip up your coat at the very last moment as you step outside to avoid trapping excess heat indoors!
