The high-visibility cap is the essential accessory for those who work in cold weather. Available in yellow and orange, this cap not only offers exceptional thermal protection, but also ensures your visibility, even in the darkest conditions.
This beanie offers good insulation to keep you warm in cold weather. It's soft, stretchy and comfortably fits all head sizes.
The strategically placed reflective strip further enhances visibility, offering extra protection, especially at night or in low-light environments.
This high-visibility cap is ideal for use in construction, road safety and other low-light activities.
The Keady beanie is a winter knit in 100% acrylic. Its turn-up folds back over the forehead and ears, doubling the thickness where the cold is felt first. A reflective band runs around the turn-up and throws back the light of oncoming headlights as soon as the day fades. The knit stretches and the beanie comes in one size.
Once you are dressed from feet to shoulders, the head is the last bare surface left. That is where the remaining warmth goes, and it is why a beanie is felt straight away.
A beanie does not warm the head: it stops it cooling down. The knitted fabric holds a layer of air between the loops of yarn, and it is that still air that insulates. The turn-up adds a second thickness across the brow and the ears, the two areas the wind reaches first. Heat leaves through bare skin: covering the head takes away the last surface left once everything else is dressed.
The reflective band runs around the turn-up and throws light back towards its source: a car's headlights, a loading bay lamp, a head torch. Worn at head height, it sits in the beam of the headlights and above whatever hides the lower body — a hedge, a parked car, a low wall. That counts most where no high-visibility vest is worn, at the start and the end of the day.
Because it does two things at once for the space of a pocket: it keeps your head warm and it picks you out once the light goes. This is the beanie you keep in your jacket and buy two of.
