The Sirius jacket is built on a 270 g/m² canvas, a heavy workwear cloth, lined throughout. The shoulders are reinforced in 600D polyester, at the point that carries loads and rubs against materials.
Cold protection, down to −5 °C*. Meets EN ISO 13688.

The Sirius jacket is built as a work garment before it is a winter one. Its 270 g/m² canvas, in polyester and cotton, holds the structure and blocks the air; its lining runs through the whole body and provides the warmth. The shoulders take a 600D polyester panel, at the point that carries loads and rubs against materials. Around that, the adjustments of daily use: cuffs adjustable with a press stud, waist adjustable at the sides, a covered centre-front zip with a press-stud flap, multifunctional chest pockets and zipped side pockets.
A heavy cloth works differently from a technical fabric. It is not chasing lightness: it stands up on its own, keeps its shape and takes knocks, and its thickness alone is enough to slow the air. That is the right choice for dry cold, in an unheated workshop, a garage or a yard, when you handle materials all day. The lining brings the warmth; the canvas brings the seasons.
On this jacket, the warmth comes from two sources working together. The lining holds on to the warm air the body produces, as any material does when it leaves volume between its fibres. The canvas, dense at 270 g/m², limits how much air passes through the cloth and stops that warm air being carried off by the first gust — a heavy cloth is not a windproof membrane, but its thickness is enough to slow the exchange of air considerably. Then come the openings: the zip covered by a press-stud flap closes the longest gap in the garment, the press-stud cuffs tighten onto the sleeve, and the adjustable waist holds warm air inside rather than letting it escape downwards. This jacket is built for dry cold; in sustained rain it needs a waterproof layer over the top. It meets EN ISO 13688.
Because it brings together the warmth of a lined jacket and the structure of a heavy-canvas work garment. Shoulders reinforced in 600D, adjustable waist and cuffs, multifunctional chest pockets: this is a trade garment that also happens to be warm.
