The CXS Men's High Visibility Trousers are the perfect combination of style, safety, and functionality. Their robust design, high-quality materials, and practical features make them an essential choice for demanding professionals.
Whether you work in construction, road works, maintenance, or marine transport, these trousers are the ideal equipment to ensure maximum visibility and optimal protection.
These high visibility trousers are ideal for:
The Benson trousers put their technical fabric in two precise places. The knees are backed with CORDURA, with a purpose-made opening for knee pads, and the lower hem carries the same reinforcement, where the fabric rubs against the ground and the boot. The rest of the garment handles the everyday: segmented 7 cm reflective tape that follows the movement, a zipped thigh pocket with an ID card holder, side multifunctional pockets, and the EASY-PROLONG system, which lengthens the leg by releasing a seam.
On site, work trousers nearly always go in the same places: the knees first, because you kneel on gravel and concrete, then the lower leg, which rubs against the boot with every step. Putting CORDURA in those two places rather than across the whole garment is a real manufacturing choice: the trousers keep the softness of cotton everywhere else, and they last longer without weighing more.
Reflective tape does not light up: it returns the light it receives back towards its source, whether that is a pair of headlights or a head torch. That is why it only works while it stays clean — a film of dust or grease is enough to cancel that return. Here the tape is segmented at a width of 7 cm: the segmenting lets it follow the bend of the knee without creasing, so it stays readable while you move. The fluorescent fabric does the other half of the work, by day and in poor light, when there is no source to light the tape. On the wear side, CORDURA is a high-tenacity nylon weave: it takes abrasion far better than ordinary workwear fabric, which is why it sits at the knees and hems rather than across the whole garment. The trousers meet EN ISO 20471 at class 2; the class required on a given site depends on the employer's risk assessment.
Because they put the technical fabric in the two places that decide how long they last, keep the rest of the garment soft, and offer two adjustments that few work trousers provide: a length that extends and knee pads that sit inside the knee.
Dressing for cold weather, from the ground up:
On a hi-vis garment, protection is measured by what is still readable after six months of site work and washing.
